Situated on a spacious 80-acre lot of land in Louisville, Colorado,
Monarch High School opened in 1998. Monarch is well noted for
its exceptional academic standings. In 2006-2007, it was
rated “Excellent” by the Colorado Department of
Education for its overall academic performance and won a John Irwin
School of Excellence Award.
In addition to its outstanding academics, Monarch is renowned for its
excellent athletics and many student
organizations. Since its founding in
1999, the school has won 4 State Hockey Titles, 1 State Football
Championship, 2 State Baseball Titles, and 2 Drumline State
Championships, to name but a few of its many extracurricular
