Applewood Knolls Real Estate

Just West of Denver, Applewood Knolls is a popular Wheat Ridge subdivision located north of W. 26th Ave.  Applewood was founded in 1954, yet its origins date back to the early 19th Century.  During the depth of the Great Depression, in 1932, Myron Bunger purchased an 80 acre lot of land Centering at West 26th and Youngfield Street.  In 1938, a farmer paid Myron apple tree saplings for water rights, which Myron planted on the land; hence the name Applewood.
