The Boulder Valley School District (BVSD), which educates close to 30,000 students each year and employs approximately 4,000 people (including teachers, administrators, staff, and others), is one of the most well-respected school districts in the State of Colorado. The District is a wealthy one, and is known to spend as much money as possible per enrolled student.
Many schools within the BVSD offer several popular and highly-regarded programs such as Gifted and Talented, ESL (English as a Second Language) and Computer Literacy.
The District also recognizes that all of its students are unique individuals and learn new concepts in various different ways. Therefore, the schools within the BVSD provide instruction at many different academic levels, as well as support as much individual attention between teachers and students as possible.
Over the past several years, the BVSD has worked to foster a safe, positive and upbeat learning environment for its students. The District believes that this is the most beneficial way to encourage education, enhance participation and develop enthusiastic students.
