The main attraction in the Sloan’s Lake neighborhood is the lake itself (with the same name). The boundaries for this community are West 29th Avenue, West 10th Avenue, Federal Boulevard, and Sheridan Boulevard.

The Sloan’s Lake community is well-established with most of homes having been built in the 1930s. However, there are small sections of the neighborhood which are much older with original structures that were built in the late 1800s. The architecture of the homes represents the common styles at the turn of the 20th Century, and most homes are filled with charm and character.

Most homes in the Sloan’s Lake neighborhood are within a short distance of the Sloan’s Lake Park, which features a large lake, tennis courts, picnic areas, flower gardens, and walking and biking paths. The distance to Downtown Denver is just a few miles, and the Highlands neighborhood is also nearby, where many restaurants and boutiques can be found.
