Fox Creek Farm is one of Longmont's newer communities. It was developed and built between 1997 and 2001. Currently, Fox Creek Farm is home to many people - including those with young children, people who are single, and adults in the "empty nest" category. The age diversity in Fox Creek Farm is one of the aspects that make the neighborhood so popular.
Fox Creek Farm sits very close to a 15-acre park called Stephen Day Park. The park was designed with all of Longmont's residents in mind. It contains a teen skate area, mountain bike area, basketball courts, volleyball courts, a play field, an off-leash dog area, picnic areas with shelters, and a water spray fountain for children to use during the warm months.
The community does have a homeowner's association, which, among other things, hosts several annual neighborhood events.
