Old Town Louisville is the original, historical, and old-fashioned area of Louisville that has been in existence for more than 100 years.

The area consists of several neighborhoods, made up of mostly old homes - some of which have been completely refurbished. Nearby there are also many original 100-year-old wooden buildings that house many quaint restaurants, pubs, unique stores, and small business offices. In addition, the Louisville Historical Museum and large public library sit in the vicinity.

There are several events that take place year-round in and around Old Town Louisville including old-fashioned ice-skating in the winter, the "Taste of Louisville" festival, and street fairs. In the future, the downtown area will have a commuter train line stop which can be used for easy access to Boulder and Denver.

Because many of the residences in Old Town Louisville are quite old, it is popular to pop the top, add on, or renovate the homes in the area. The area is unique in that the homes are all charming and diverse in their own special ways.
